We’d been looking forward to the Kim & Sam’s special day ever since we did their engagement session last year – it was one of THE hottest days of the year and the day ended with them running off of a local golf course just as the sprinklers came on. And after Kim’s bridal portrait session, we really wanted to see the look on Sam’s face when he saw her for the first time – she was BEAUTIFUL! Their celebration started at Capt Dave’s Dockside in Murrells Inlet during their rehearsal dinner and THEN, their special day finally arrived. Kim’s hair and make-up were done by her local hairstylist Kerstin Majer of Birch Broom in the Fits before going to the Litchfield Country Club where she got dressed with the help of her six bridesmaids. Her gown from Bridals By Jodi and her finger tip veil were prefect for her. She looked beautiful walking down the aisle, one hand holding her bouquet of sunflowers from Kings Florist and the other holding onto her Dad’s arm. As she walked, everyone got a glimpse of her yellow shoes. The look on Sam’s face was worth a thousand words and when she reached the end of the aisle she looked radiant standing next to him in his tan suit. They said, their vows, exchanged rings, poured sand for the sand ceremony and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev. Bob Teems. Their guests signed sheets of material that Kim’s Grandmother will sew together and use to make a quilt. Their cake, by Jan, was really pretty and Kevin Graham did a really good job DJing. At the end of the evening each of their guests grabbed a sparkler and formed two lines that Kim & Sam walked through before climbing into a 1962 Rolls Royce and riding away. We are thankful to have been a part of Kim & Sam’s special day – THANK YOU for choosing Wayne’s View Photography – we were honored.
